In order for the Tourist Guide Institute to train a tourist guide a person must have a love for this country, be able to work with people and have a desire to learn more about the country.
• Learners must have literacy and numeracy on NQF Level 3
• Learners must be able to speak, understand and read basic English
• Learners must be computer literate and have access to a computer and the internet.
PLEASE NOTE: Non-RSA residents must be in possession of a valid work or residence permit before they will be registered as a tourist guide.
