When a potential Tourist Guides enrols as a learner with the Tourist Guide Institute his/her name is placed on the CATHSSETA* Learner database.
Once the course is successfully completed the database is upgraded and all the Unit Standards achieved entered. CATHSSETA will issue a SKILLS PROGRAMME ACHIEVEMENT certificate to the learner.
This certificate will be needed to renew the guiding registration.
